I saw that movie a long time ago. I was a little cheesy but was a typical biker movie of the time. Can't all be "Easy Rider" or "The Wild Ones". I enjoyed it. Something about a long fork on a sprung chassis doesn't look right to me, but that's just my opinion.

Re: What are you doing today?
Since the bike is down for an engine rebuild and a lot of other stuff I figured this week I would paint the Linkert and blast the bowl to pretty it up a bit. Not perfect but used some high heat paint. Also interestingly found my durable float swollen but it is 9 years old so put in a replacement I had and its ready for service when the time comes. ironically I just ordered two spares from Cotten so good timing
I didn’t paint the choke adjuster thingy…I suppose I should if it was also black but I’m already inside and tired (ie: lazy)

Re: What are you doing today?
Was traveling all week for work out west. Stopped by Denver Choppers in Reno and looked around the place, Mondo has some pretty cool stuff out there. Managed to get home in time last night to go to a swapmeet I’ve been waiting on in Canton, GA today. The only thing I found for my 53 rebuild was a proper throttle cable bracket for the top motor mount. i did however find a nice M51 to replace the DC-2 carb on my flathead frankenbike.
I also found a rebuilt by Cotten but never ran Schebler HX-154 that is apparently from a 1921 HD 74”. I have no bike to put it on but felt compelled to buy it. I now have to either get a bike (unlikely) or save it in my display case until someone needs it! The thing was just too cool not to buy for a solid price. Guess I’m a sucker…. Oh and a belt buckle was also bought for good measure
