I made my own templates for my 50' from a good OEM rear fender.

If and when you have time, would you please share measurements (e.g., hole to hole center-to-center)?1950HD1950 wrote: Tue Feb 13, 2024 8:42 amI made my own templates for my 50' from a good OEM rear fender.

Matt Olsen of Carl's Cycle Supply did a very informative video on YouTube on how to do this correctly. I just watched it recently and it isn't verry long. Carl's shop has restored countless 98+ AMCA point bikes over the years. You should be able to find it if you go to their YouTube site. There are several subtle details that are explained in the video that will keep you out of trouble.

I couldn't watch any further after he started cutting into the new paint job with a razor blade, i suppose the hanging plates will cover the damaged paint.48Doc wrote: Wed Feb 14, 2024 10:17 pm Matt Olsen of Carl's Cycle Supply did a very informative video on YouTube on how to do this correctly.
