canister oil filter176 viewsI haven't had any problems since I switched over to an aftermarket finned aluminum cup. I had to grind some finnage to get it to fit but it was a piece o'cake. I use a copper washer with a 'lil dab o'Permatex ultra copper on both sides, then tighten it up with a nylock nut. Wipe off the excess and it's good to go. The copper washer will work with the stock chrome cup also as it's soft enough to contour itself to the surface.
Your spin on looks good but this tip might help other guys. ..Rick
