Casting Numbers for Springer Legs215 viewsSo I'm wondering what kind of legs these are on the "1948 45 cu" I bought. I can't seem to find any solid reference to the casting marks in Palmers book. So I wanted to ask you guys, what do I have here?

Luggage_racks.jpg
Luggage racks115 viewsFunny that the catalog picture for that rack shows it mounted backwards. The factory 3 bar rack for '58 is slightly different than the later type. The one shown is the later type as used with tour packs and is designed to sit further back (side rails configured differently) to give clearance between the seat and tour pack. These are all the 3 rail racks. Top left is a Duo-Glide type, Top right a later Electra-Glide type, bottom left is the '52-'57 rigid type, and the bottom right is K-Model and Sportster.RUBONEAug 07, 2019
