Starting a '47 chief build.... Wheels first!

#1

Post by Shag »

My dad spent 30+ years compiling chief parts, i took over the project and i'm actually getting the ball rolling on building them.

So i have a pile of dissasebled wheel hoops, spokes and brakes here. How to i tell the indian wheels and spokes from the other riff-raff he may have i the pile? Also can anyone recommend someone to replate both??? I'd personally like to reassemble since i've never done it and want to have the experience.

Hey Shag, go to https://jerrygreersengineering.com/. Plug in year & model. Their website has all the subassemblies shown and broken down. You'll be able to see if your parts match theirs.
