getting things straight
When I removed my frame from the jig after welding I found that my axle plates have moved out of square. Not too bad but I want to straighten them. They ended up in a toe in position at the back end. What I would like to know is, can I do this by returning it to the jig, adding a little bit more spread between the plates than needed to bring it to square, clamping it secure and then heating it under tension?

Re: getting things straight
Thanks, Larry, I don't have a pic because I took the jig down and the ones I do have don't show how my rear section is set up, which is 3" square tubing between the plates supported by an upright that is also 3" square tubing.
Rob, thanks. I knew the answer before I posted but I had to get it out there to see if the laws of metallurgy have changed recently
