Passion or punishment??
I found one more of the missing parts books I was in search of, so now I have every known version from 1925 to the late '70s where my interest wanes (earlier one as well but not all consecutive!). Also every known supplement and lots of other supporting documents like updated price lists which tell you when parts were dropped from inventory. In the early years they did a new one every year, but they changed that after '41 just going to when they felt the changes (and their finances?) dictated a new one. Here is a pic of 25-38...

Re: Passion or punishment??
That’s great, but as I remember they were always bound together into a 3 foot wide stack on the dealer’s counter for all the years up until the present.
Anybody got a picture of that from back in the day? With a parts man peeking over top?
Congrats Rubone!

Re: Passion or punishment??
They were usually in catalog racks in later years, the racks didn't appear until 1947. And no way all could be together, the stacks would have been too long. There were many separate books including Military, some specific 45, Servi-Cars, Lightweights, K-Models and then Sportsters, Topper scooters, the Italian stuff, gas and Electric Golf Cars, etc. There are some I have no interest in but they are generally later models and nothing from the' 80s up.
Virtually all the others are represented in my stuff. More pics to follow...
Here is a rack in the shop.

Re: Passion or punishment??
It goes on and on Ray! Although paper stuff is my favorite.
More catalogs. No parts books were published between '41 and '45 except military versions. No parts book was published in '46 or '47 and no known supplements exist, only the price lists which show the part numbers and then the '48 catalog which covers the late knuckleheads. No catalog in '52 or '53 but there is a supplement especially covering the foot shift parts. There is a '55 supplement also.

Re: Passion or punishment??
Great stuff Robbie!, and congrats on finding your missing publication.
Reminds me of the (Garage Wall Pics?) thread we had going over on CAIMAG and all the great pics you posted there.
Not saying the thread-title you chose is no good, but I almost didn't check it out. Sounds like an ad in one of those 'leather' magazines (not that I ever looked in one).

Re: Passion or punishment??
I am infatuated with paper stuff. These cabinets contain vintage mc magazines. Motorcyclist from late '32 to the mid 60s. American Motorcycling from volume 1 issue 1 up. I still get them only now only digital. Cycle from volume 1 issue 1 to the mid 60s. Cycle World from Volume 1 issue 1, Buzzzz from the large format days of the 50s with a growing number of the early ones as I can find them. I also have the "Enthusiast" from Feb '20 to current issues with a few of the teens copies. Hundreds of others including most early Easyriders, Choppers, etc.

Robbie,
Any chance of a close up picture of the pocket watch’s?
I don’t wear a wrist watch, I use a pocket watch instead.
